Alana had me create this seaglass and sterling silver pendant for a friend of hers a little while ago, and she asked me if I would be able to create her a pendant using a piece of seaglass that she had found.

Seraphinite Round Cabochon

Seraphinite Round Cabochon

The lovely dark sea green round seraphinite gemstone cabochon shown here is 21mm long, and is available to be handcrafted into a custom made ring or pendant for you.

The word seraphim refers to angels, and seraphinite is supposed to have gotten its name due to its resemblance to feathers. Seraphinite is mined in a limited area of eastern Siberia in Russia. It was originally known as green chlorite.

Seraphinite is believed to promote self healing and aid with contacting the spirit world.

The luminescent labradorite gemstone cabochon shown here is 22mm long.  It is available to be handcrafted into a custom made ring or pendant for you. Labradorite is a feldspar, and like moonstone, has what is known as the schiller effect. It is also known as spectrolite, black moonstone, and falcon’s eye.

Labradorite is said to bring good luck. It is supposed to aid with healing emotional wounds, calming and reducing negativity.

Malachite Cabochon

The beautiful malachite gemstone cabochon shown here is 33mm long.

Malachite has a high copper content, which is what gives it that fabulous green colouring. It was given its name because of its resemblance to the leaves of the Mallow plant. Read more about Malachite here.

The lovely olivine gemstone cabochon shown here is 28mm long. It is available to be handcrafted into a custom made ring or pendant for you. 

Olivine is the mineral form of what is known as peridot or chrysolite when it is ‘gem quality’. It is a magnesium iron silicate. Olivine has been found in meteorites, and on the Moon and Mars.

Olivine is believed to help release toxins, both physical and mental.It is thought to strengthen the immune system and help with ulcers.

Peat Brown Drusy Agate Cabochon

Agate is traditionally believed to help you to discern truth, improve memory and concentration, increase stamina,  prevent insomnia and ensure pleasant dreams, enhance personal courage, protect you against danger, and provide a calming influence.

This drusy cabochon has been dyed. You can read more about gemstone treatments here. In order to keep your drusy looking good, it is recommended that you do not get it wet or expose it to sunlight for prolonged periods. Your piece can be cleaned using a soft silver polishing cloth.

The metallic grey gemstone cabochon shown here is 25mm long.  It is available to be handcrafted into a custom made ring or pendant for you. Haematite is mined as the main ore of iron. Grey hematite is typically found in places where there has been standing water or mineral hot springs. There is haematite on Mars.

Haematite is thought to help reduce the discomfort of leg cramps and fractures; to cleanse the blood and assist with blood-related problems such as anaemia. It is believed to be inspirational while still keeping you grounded.
