Holly sent me a picture and asked if I could make it into a pendant.
She wanted it as a gift for a friend of hers. So cute!

Robert saw the silver lotus flower pendant I created for my bestie’s yoga teacher, and asked if I could make him one for his girl.
He chose a black leather choker for the piece, which nicely changes the feel. It looks just as amazing as the brown I used on the previous one I made.
The lotus flower is also known as a water lily. As well as the gorgeous flower, it has the most amazing seed pod!
My lovely client Talitha requested an initial pendant to give to a friend whose name begins with J.
Simple and sweet!
Thanks as always, Lithy.
One of my lovely everlasting besties asked me to make a lotus flower for her yoga teacher.
It was a joy to create!
My dear friend Aimee asked me to make her a green pendant. I searched around for a stone that she would love and found this fabulous variscite cabochon.
Symmetrical, with just enough inclusions to make it apparent that it is a real piece of the earth, in such an amazing colour, it suits Aimee down to the ground!
I know Aimee loves quirky love hearts, so I added a secret one on the reverse of the pendant. I was happy that I completed it in time it to give it to her as a birthday present. Love you Miss Aimee!
One of my lovely clients (for whom I have created a number of pieces including this pendant) asked me to create a pendant for her to give to her mother in memory of her father.
Her dad would give her mum roses all the time when they were dating.
What a gorgeous sentiment. Thank you Lithy!
One of my lovely clients selected this gorgeous piece of shattuckite from my gemstone collection, and asked me to create her a pendant with it.
There is something wonderful about being able to create something to wear from some pieces of rock and metal from the ground!
Thanks Katrina, I hope you are still enjoying your pendant!
My lovely sister Chris, who lives far away in London, inspired me to head in a new direction as we were discussing the creation of a custom made piece for her to wear. Overlay is a great technique as it gives depth and texture to the piece. I’ve been thinking of creating some pieces like this for a while, and Chris gave me the inspiration to start!
The theme of the sea resonates with Chris, as she has worked extensively with organisations who protect our marine environment. (It resonates with me, too, as I am a water sign!)
As her zodiac sign is Aquarius, for which the stone is garnet, this hessonite garnet was perfect! Hessonite garnet is a variety of grossular garnet, with a lovely glowing orange hue. It is sometimes known as cinnamon stone.
I’m really thrilled to have created this pendant, and I’m working on a new range with a similar feel! Thanks so much for the inspiration, Chris!
I created this pendant for my dear friend Morgan some years ago. It was my first foray into creating schnörkels (my teachers have a German heritage, and at school that’s what are these things sometimes known as curlicues!) The gemstone is a piece of eudialyte from North Russia.
Looking back at it, I can see many imperfections. I think we’re all hypercritical of our own work, but this one in particular is very homemade to me. However, Morgan claims to love it still, and imperfections are all part of the learning curve, after all!!
I wonder if everyone looks back on their earlier work with a certain amount of cringeworthiness. Authors, actors, artists, musicians – we’re all putting ourselves out there in some way! Still, I created this with my own two hands (and some metal and stone 🙂 ), and that must be something to be proud of.
