It was lovely to be emailed by Kel, who had a request for a custom made ring to start off her bespoke jewellery collection.
I just love the idea of that! (As an aside, my small son found me this leaf just as I was photographing Kel’s ring – I think they look great together. 🙂 )
Using a freshwater pearl, I created a sterling silver dome for it to sit in.
It’s really quite difficult to photograph highly polished curved surfaces, but you get the general idea. I like the shine coupled with the soft pearl! Thanks, Kel!
It was my older son’s eighteenth birthday recently, and I knew that a Captain America ring was high on his long term list of desires.
I was very glad to create one for him.
Happy birthday, my very lovely son!
(P.S. I have promised my son that this will be the only Captain America shield piece I will ever make ~ that way it’s completely unique to him from me ~ however if you have a different Captain America idea, or another Super Hero that you love, I’d be glad to help out!)
I created these forget-me-not charm bracelets as a memento for customer whose friend is moving away. The sterling silver chain is pre-made, but the clasps and the charms are handcrafted, as always!
One bracelet each, to remember each other by! What a gorgeous idea.
My best friend asked me to create a tree of life pendant for her lovely sister for her birthday.
To me, the brown of the smoky quartz (also known as cairngorm) represents the earth, and the red of the almandine garnet represents the fruit of the tree.
I wanted this tree to have a different, softer feel that the tree of life ring I made. So glad to hear the lovely El likes it!
For my sister’s birthday, I wanted to make her something special. She chose this Picasso marble cabochon from my gemstone collection, and asked if I could make a pendant from it.
She wanted the bail to be the symbol for infinity – such a lovely idea!
I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product being worn. I feel so lucky to have such a lovely sister!
At the same time as I was creating her this ring, Leesa (for whom I also created this ring), asked if I could make her a ring using this divine Morgan Hill poppy jasper cabochon from my gemstone collection.
The stone matches Leesa’s colouring perfectly – it really looks divine on her.
Thank you, Leesa, it was a joy working with you as always!!
I created these pendants for a customer, one each for him and his girlfriend.
She is going overseas, and he wanted something to symbolise their love.
I created them so that when the domes are placed together, a complete sphere is formed. Each dome has a larger and a smaller solid silver sphere inside, to represent each of them.
