Sterling Silver Ljiljan Pendant
I created this sterling silver ljiljan pendant for a customer as a gift for her partner.
The Lilium bosniacum is a lily native to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the is national symbol of the Bosniak people.
This design is also known as a fleur-de-lys, often used in heraldic imagery. Thanks, Caitlin. I hope it was well received!
AMOK Atoms for Peace Sterling Silver Cufflinks
Any fans of Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, REM or Forro in the Dark may be familiar with Atoms for Peace, an alternative rock band with some very famous names in it!
These cufflinks were specially designed to incorporate features of the AMOK album cover, and created for a lovely customer to give to her husband, a diehard Radiohead fan.
Just between you and me, these were the first cufflinks I’ve ever made – they were great fun! The cufflink backs are prefabricated sterling silver, but the rest is all my own sawing work.
I wonder what Thom Yorke, Flea, Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco would think of them? 🙂
Petoskey Stone and Sterling Silver Cuff Bangle and Brown Drusy Agate Ring
After a visit to see my gemstone collection in person, Robbie chose this piece of petoskey stone and piece of drusy agate to be made into a cuff and ring set for his partner.
I love the way the stones are completely different materials, yet still complement each other beautifully!
I finished the ring with a high polish and the cuff with a brushed finish to add some interest and set the off beautifully. Thanks, Robbie!
Family Crest Garnet and Sterling Silver Ring
I created this ring for Scott to give to his wife for their wedding anniversary. He wanted to show her how much a part of his family she was by sharing his family crest with her in some way.
He provided me with some great information and some pictures of his traditional family crest. After quite a bit of design discussion, as this ring was to be feminine, we settled on using a portion of the drawing to create the feeling of the crest – I really loved this swirly winglike piece!
Using a garnet to symbolise the red that appeared throughout the family crest (and which, of course, also symbolises love), I was very very happy with the end result. Thanks so much, Scott, it was a pleasure to work with you!
Cherry Creek Jasper and Sterling Silver Pendant
Margaret, a lovely woman I met at my stall at the BrisStyle indie Markets, chose this stone from my gemstone collection, and commissioned me to create a pendant for her daughter’s birthday.
I spent quite a while deciding whether to have the stone pointing up or down – I went with down as you can see! The granulation just adds a little something, I think.

Sterling Silver Coherent Wave Pendants
While I was creating the lovely Margaret Ingles her coherent wave pendant, she decided that she would love to have one each for her two daughters, too!

Lion Rampant – or the Gatecrasher Sterling Silver Ring
After I created this rectangle overlay ring for Cam, he decided he would like me to make him another one. He sent me a drawing of what he was after, and I created this ring for him.
The lion rampant is a traditional crest symbol, however in this instance the lion has a different meaning.
A famous trance music emblem, this Gatecrasher lion has been around for a while!
This piece was so much fun to create, and was a challenge to my sawing abilities. Thanks again, Cam, and I hope we can work together again some day!
Sterling Silver Spiral Ring and Earrings Set
A lucky girl is going to be the recipient of this matched set of sterling silver spiral ring and earrings for Christmas this year!
Peter emailed me a description, a couple of photos and a quick sketch of the style he was after, and I took it from there.
I think the silver end cap spheres set off the hammered texture nicely!

Hueso and Sterling Silver Pendant
When this hueso handcarved bone cabochon arrived at our house, I nearly kept it for myself, but my son instantly said how cool it was, and asked if he could get me to custom make a pendant for his friend, Charlotte.
The moon face is so serene!
I learned a little bit about bone and bone carving while I made it. I am always so pleased to know there are such talented people in our world!
