I was honoured to be asked by my dear friend Judy to create a matching pendant and earrings set for her to donate to the ArtSound FM Radiothon fundraiser.
Judy asked me to incorporate the ArtSound logo into the piece.
She and her colleagues chose sodalite from my gemstone collection to really make these pieces gorgeous!
You can head to the ArtSound webpage on 17th November to pledge your donation and get your chance to win this set!
My lovely friend Margaret is an artist, and I met her when she commissioned me to create this coherent wave pendant for her to wear to her art exhibition, Bliss.
The symbol is for infinity, of course, and also represents the number eight, which is a very lucky number in Asia and kept cropping up throughout Margaret’s painting journey!
We selected the turquoise, chrysoprase and amazonite as they were such delicious water colours, and I added the sparkling white topaz which reminds me of the sparkling water too.

Thanks, Margaret, your visions are lovely, and you’re a joy to work with!
My dearest friend commissioned me to create a smoky quartz pendant for her mum’s birthday – I was so pleased, as her mum is one of the reasons I began silversmithing – her collection of wonderful statement pieces stayed in my mind from when I was small!
I found her the most amazing faceted cabochon, which inspired my design.
It is one of my favourite pieces to date, and I was honoured to create it! 🙂
I created this pendant and earrings set in collaboration with a beautiful customer. We worked together to match the stones and come up with the design idea.
The shape of the pieces mirror the pattern in the drusy. The pieces are for a gift for Sonia’s daughter, a Taurean – the stones are both birthstones for the sign of Taurus, so very fitting!
Thanks so much, Sonia, it was such a pleasure and an honour to collaborate with you.
I’m always pleased to create custom pieces for people using gemstones from my ever-growing collection, and this was no exception!
What made this chrysocolla pendant special is that it’s for a birthday girl, from a group of her friends – and I got to meet the person who commissioned it.
Chrysocolla is one of my favourite stones at the moment – if you’d like your very own chrysocolla piece, just let me know!
