Andii contacted me to see if I would make her some stacking mother’s rings. What a gorgeous idea!
The rings are set with the birthstones of her two children, and stamped on the inside with their names and birthdates.
The heart cutout ring has the details of Andii and her partner’s marriage.
A lovely timeless set, which I’m sure her children will cherish too!
I made these rings for one of my lovely clients Greg and his partner, for their engagement and wedding bands. Not your average rings!
It was lovely to have them visit my workshop to choose the stones and talk about the design of their rings.

My lovely client Emma chose this amazing drusy cabochon to be made into this pink and white agate ring. The stone gets the amazing colour through treatment. I usually prefer natural stones, but sometimes a treated stone is just too good to pass up!
The ring is a huge one at nearly 5 cm long. It makes a great statement piece, but is comfortable enough for daily wear. The stone sits on top of the finger, but allows full movement of the finger below. I love to wear huge rings, and I take them off only if it gets very hot or if I’m doing something quite manual, like building another ring! You can read more about wearing my rings here.

My lovely bestie asked me to make this ring for her husband for his birthday.
The three textured bands represent herself and their two children.
The bands turned out a little bit off kilter, which is a nice organic touch – humans are never perfect, after all!

My lovely client Natasha previously had me make her and her partner new wedding rings, set with lemon quartz.
A friend of Natasha’s admired those rings so much, so Natasha had me create a similar ring for her!

Robert saw the silver lotus flower pendant I created for my bestie’s yoga teacher, and asked if I could make him one for his girl.
He chose a black leather choker for the piece, which nicely changes the feel. It looks just as amazing as the brown I used on the previous one I made.
The lotus flower is also known as a water lily. As well as the gorgeous flower, it has the most amazing seed pod!
From the vault, here’s a pendant I created for a dear friend of mine, at the (secret) request of her husband.
This was a cheap ‘n’ cheerful piece that was crying out to be recreated* in ‘proper’ sterling silver.
*Just a note that I am no longer doing replica pieces, sorry to tantalise! (I did say from the vault… 🙂 )
There’s a nod to the sky and the sea and the forest in these sodalite, malachite, and silver gum-leaf earrings I created last year for my client George.
As part of the design process, I sent George some pictures of combinations of different gemstones from my available gemstone collection. He chose sodalite and malachite as a lovely combo. We added the gum-leaves for a lovely subtle nature themed earring. George thought they looked great, and they went off to a new home overseas. I’m always so happy when my clients like the pieces I’ve made. It’s always exciting when they’re headed off to various corners of the globe. I have made some well travelled jewels!
