Lodolite and Sterling Silver Ring

Lodolite is commonly known as Garden Quartz.

Lodolite and Sterling Silver Ring 3

It is clear quartz with inclusions, which look like a landscape scene – garden or underwater garden!

Lodolite and Sterling Silver Ring 2

I feel the organic vine-like nature of the ring complements the beautiful stone.

Chitor Jade Cabochon

Chitor Jade Oval Cabochon

The beautiful pale green flecked oval chitor jade gemstone cabochon shown here is 32mm long.  It is available to be handcrafted into a custom made ring or pendant for you.

Chitor is a town near Jaipur, Rajasthan, India where the stone is found. The name Chitor Jade is a colloquial name, given to this mineral by the local people. I sourced this stone from a gemstone supplier who got the stone in Rajasthan. He tells me it’s quite possible this stone has never been traded outside the area where it is found, which could be why I’d never heard of it. So, this is a very unique cabochon!
