When I came across this beautiful piece of chrysocolla, I just knew I had to have it! My mum has a gorgeous close-up print of the bark of a gum tree hanging in her house, and this reminded me very much of that.
After some deliberation, and some collaboration, I created this pendant for her.
I was really happy with the way this piece turned out – I think it is one of my favs so far!
My good friend Narelle asked if I could create a pendant for her to give to a good friend of hers.
Narelle sent me some sketches of ideas she had, and we agreed on this design, which incorporates the first initial of the name of each of the members of the family.

I created these Czech glass and sterling silver clip-on earrings at the request of Trish, a customer of mine.
The clips are premade, as it’s just not practical to try to make them myself.
She was very pleased with how comfortable they were, and I’m creating her another pair as we speak!
The lovely Mel was a lucky one at Christmas time – her husband gave her a drusy agate and sterling silver ring.
He originally bought a ring from my shop, but when it arrived, he realised that he had misjudged the size.
I was happy to help by getting him to return it, and creating a custom made one instead! Louis chose the ring from my gemstone collection.
Mel creates gorgeous things for little people (and some for big!) in her shop Creative Wishes.

I created this pendant for my best friend. Her lovely father passed away recently, and she needed something to wear close to her heart. Seraphim were angels, and seraphinite is named because of the feathery appearance of the stone, so is a lovely choice for this piece.
I designed it to have six feathery figures gathered around the stone, to represent Mick’s six children. Morgan said the pattern also reminded her of olive branches, which was lovely, as her dad used to take her walking in olive groves.
Seraphinite is believed to promote self healing and aid with contacting the spirit world.
I love you my dear friend, and I hope some gentle peace comes your way.
I created this pendant for Talitha, who wanted a piece to wear in memory of her father.
The symbol is a Scouting one, which means ‘Gone Home’. Talitha will have these words engraved on the pendant when she receives it.

I created this forget-me-not charm bracelet for a customer to give to her boss for Christmas.
The sterling silver chain is pre-made, but the clasps and the charms are handcrafted.

The Lilium bosniacum is a lily native to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the is national symbol of the Bosniak people.
This design is also known as a fleur-de-lys, often used in heraldic imagery. Thanks, Caitlin. I hope it was well received!
Any fans of Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, REM or Forro in the Dark may be familiar with Atoms for Peace, an alternative rock band with some very famous names in it!
These cufflinks were specially designed to incorporate features of the AMOK album cover, and created for a lovely customer to give to her husband, a diehard Radiohead fan.
Just between you and me, these were the first cufflinks I’ve ever made – they were great fun! The cufflink backs are prefabricated sterling silver, but the rest is all my own sawing work.
I wonder what Thom Yorke, Flea, Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco would think of them? 🙂
